Samsung Drops Their Best Devices, Ever?

Well guys. On July 10, 2024, Samsung hosted its highly anticipated Unpacked event, unveiling a range of innovative products that promise to redefine the tech landscape.

Like most years, the star of the show was undoubtedly the new foldable phones: the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Personally, these feel more like basic refinements, rather than revolutionary products. The one product that really caught my eye was the new Galaxy Ring. Obviously this is meant to take aim at the very popular Oura ring. But, is it really worth it for $399? I’m not so sure.

I love metal devices. I not just talking just metal rails. I mean like, full metal jackets. So the new OnePlus Nord 4 really speaks to me. What’s interesting here is OnePlus somehow developed a new design thats fully metal - AND somehow still allows for 5G antennas. A pretty impressive feat in my opinion.

My take? This is the best mid-ranger for 2024. Even beating out the Nothing Phone 2a (which I personally purchased). Sure, the cameras aren’t anything special, but they’re a big improvement over the previous Nord 3, and all other specs here are flagship level. Well done OnePlus. Well done. You’ve got a homerun on your hands here! 👏

My Favourite Tech Purchase of 2024 (So Far).

I’m don’t consider myself to be a great videographer or a vlogger, but holy crap, the DJI pocket 3 is the best thing I’ve purchase all year. I picked it up second hand, and I can’t get over how insane this little device is. The 1” sensor was such a great move on DJI’s behalf, and there’s been a number of updates to the device since I got it which makes the M-LOG recording even better.
