Tech Tip of the Day 👇

Last week I helped my Dad scan a number of important documents using his iPhone. He needed to sign these documents, and then email them in .pdf format. He really struggled with the whole process, so I sent him a link to this video that shows you how to easily scan documents with either your iPhone or Android device. A much quicker and easier way of sending important documents - without using a traditional scanner or printer. Check out these super helpful videos for more info:

Tech News of The Week 📣

Apple sets date for iPhone 16 launch.

Apple has officially announced its upcoming launch event for the iPhone 16 lineup, scheduled for September 9, 2024, at 1 PM ET (10 AM PT). The event, themed “It’s Glowtime,” will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park. Anticipation is high as Apple is expected to unveil four new iPhone models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Significant design changes are expected, particularly for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, which will feature a vertically aligned camera system on the back. The Pro models may see larger screens while retaining the familiar three-camera layout. Additionally, a new bronze color option is rumored for the Pro and Pro Max versions. All iPhone 16 models are likely to include the Action Button, previously exclusive to the Pro line with the iPhone 15.

Another exciting addition might be a dedicated button for capturing photos and videos, although it remains unclear whether this feature will be available on all models or just the Pro versions. The event is also expected to highlight Apple’s AI initiatives, particularly the Apple Intelligence features, which are currently supported only on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The full iPhone 16 lineup is rumored to be compatible with these features once they become available.

In addition to the iPhone 16 series, Apple is likely to introduce the Apple Watch Series 10 and two new versions of AirPods during the event. This launch promises to be a significant moment for Apple, showcasing its latest innovations in both hardware and software.
